When offered the file download form, choose "save"
When offered a place to save the book.zip file, accept any location you wish, if you are not sure, choose your desktop or downloaded file (but remember where you put it!)
If offered the ability to open the file, do that now, otherwise find the file using windows explorer and double-click it to open it.
Choose "extract all files"
When offered a wizard, click next until you get a request for a folder name. Accept the default called "book" if you wish. Ensure the folder is placed where you are happy to leave it permanently.
When extracted, either click finish, checking the box to "show extracted files" or find the directory using windows explorer
Create a short cut to the file called "book.htm" by right clicking this file and choosing "create short cut"
Move the short-cut to your desk top or quick-launch bar.
The zip file contains no executable programs, only normal "htm" web pages and "gif" picture files. You are no more unsafe than accessing the web.
The zip file is about 200k bytes. That should take about a minute on a 56k modem.
