I also love Christines video and have purchased a spare copy for when it wears out. The music by the Firebirds is really great and makes me want to get up and dance, unlike most of the music that is played regularly in my area (Norfolk). Why then are the firebirds not played at jive venues. More generally why are vocal scores such as FirebirdS style rarely played and favour given to non vocal music only scores. Susan sadly I endorse your comments about the Ceroc culture but there lurks the conflict between commercial and social objectives. Long Live Modern Jive.
